Corporater Extends Embedded Analytics Through New Microsoft Power BI Integration

Corporater

Corporater has teamed with Microsoft to seamlessly integrate Power BI analytics into the Corporater platform to enable customers to translate data insights into business impact.

Corporater and Microsoft announce a partnership to embed Microsoft Power BI analytic capabilities into the Corporater Business Management Platform. By combining technologies, Corporater and Microsoft Power BI enable businesses to easily gain deeper insights into data, and to deliver better outcomes from decisions based on the data.

The Corporater platform links management disciplines, such as risk, strategy, operations, quality, projects, processes, HR, and finance within a single interface to provide information in the right business context to make better decisions. Power BI has been integrated seamlessly into Corporater to offer managers easy data exploration within the context, and to place data insights into an execution framework of projects, activities, risks, and initiatives that delivers business impact.

Corporater provides a business framework and context, and Microsoft provides the data visualization. Corporater provides actionable, rich and powerful insights for their customers by leveraging Power BI as an integrated part of their solution.

Microsoft Power BI enables users to analyze and visualize data from a variety of sources to make smarter and faster business decisions through interactive dashboards and reports. Power BI enables business users to turn raw data into actionable business intelligence.

To streamline integration, Corporater has adopted the approach where the ‘app owns the data.’ Integration occurs through an API that handles the authentication. Filter parameters can be passed from Corporater into Power BI to contextualize the content by business unit, reporting period, or user role. As a result, Power BI reports and dashboards can be directly embedded within Corporater pages, where Corporater provides navigation and additional content to help customers turn insights into actions and outcomes.

“Our customers require data-driven decisions—in all types of businesses,” says Tor Inge Vasshus, Corporater CEO. “Today’s analytics tools are as easy to use as Excel, and will soon be as widely used by business users. We see MS Power BI to be emerging as a standard in business analytics, and view Power BI integration as a natural extension of our platform.”

“Power BI is designed to be built into data-centric solutions, such as the Corporater Business Management Platform,” says Morten Meier, Director of Sales and Solutions, Microsoft Norway. “Corporater provides a business framework and context, and Microsoft provides the data visualization. Corporater provides actionable, rich and powerful insights for their customers by leveraging Power BI as an integrated part of their solution.”
